Support the Park in 2014

Dec 3, 2014 by

Since Friends of Glen Providence Park formed in 2011, we have held 39 consecutive monthly events, with 11 volunteer days, 25 nature walks, 3 annual picnics, and 7 concerts – all free and open to the public. We’ve completed 3 citizen science projects, removed 180 bags of invasive plants from the along the trails, and researched the park’s rich history. Your support, with volunteer hours and with donations, makes it all possible!

Your donation goes directly towards preserving and enhancing Glen Providence Park. We are all-volunteer, and board member contributions cover administrative expenses, so your donations make our programs possible. Every dollar makes a difference!

Please make donation of any size, and come enjoy our nature walks, park improvements, and summer concerts in the park!

To contribute to our 2014 Year-end Appeal, click “Donate” below. You will have 2 payment options:

      Hi Stan,

You have good timing – we just finalized our 2015 schedule, to include 3 volunteer days: Saturday, March 7; Saturday, April 25; and Saturday, September 26. We will post more information about them soon. We also will have opportunities to help with concerts, monthly events, citizen science, and historical research.

      Thank you for asking!
