POSTPONED: CRC Streams Cleanup
550 West State Street
Media
PA
CRC Watersheds announced on March 19: “While CRC would like to get everyone outside to clean our streams, out of an abundance of caution and under the direction of government recommendations, we are delaying the Streams Cleanup. We will keep you informed of future plans. Thank you all for volunteering and please stay safe and healthy!”
Join us in helping with CRC Watersheds’ 23rd Annual Streams Cleanup! CRC volunteers will remove trash at more than 30 sites along Chester, Ridley and Crum Creeks and their tributaries, including Broomall’s Run in Glen Providence Park.
2020 Stream Cleanup information for Glen Providence Park:
- Pre-registration on the CRC Watersheds website is requested.
- Meet at the Glen Providence Park main entrance on West State Street in Media at 9:00 am. We will end at 10:30 to clear the way for the Great Media Easter Egg Hunt!
- Rain or shine.
- Gloves and bags will be provided.
- We recommend long pants and long sleeves to protect against poison ivy and ticks.
- If you’d like to tackle trash along the streambank, wear water shoes, boots, or old shoes!
- CRC requires that volunteers sign a liability release.
Thank you for helping keep our parks and streams clean! 🙂
