October 1, 2022 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Glen Providence Park - entrance TBA

Rain date Sunday, October 2. Park entrance TBA.

Registration by email is required. Please RSVP to FriendsoftheGlen [at] gmail [dot] com. Covid protocols will be followed.

Save the date for National Public Lands Day! Details to be determined, but Friends of Glen Providence Park will again work on maintenance of the more than 200 native trees and shrubs we have planted since 2012, and plant additional native trees and shrubs in the glen. This is our 11th year of planting projects, working to improve wildlife habitat, reduce erosion, and beautify the park!

Our planting day is one of our most popular and fun events! We are incredibly grateful to Delaware County Parks & Recreation for providing funds for this project, and to the Delaware County Conservation District for the use of its Conservation Planting Trailer and supplies.

We will update this description as we identify other relevant details for volunteers.
