Rain date Sunday, October 16. Meet at the Kirk Lane entrance at Kirk Lane & Third Street, Upper Providence, PA.

Registration by email is required. Please RSVP to FriendsoftheGlen [at] gmail [dot] com.

For National Public Lands Day, Friends of Glen Providence Park will plant native trees, shrubs, and woodland plants along the Scouts Loop near the Kirk Lane entrance, adding to the food forest we have started there in previous years. We’ll also work on maintenance of some of the 250+ native trees and shrubs we have planted since 2012. This is our 11th year of planting projects, working to improve wildlife habitat, reduce erosion, and beautify the park!!

We are incredibly grateful to Delaware County Parks & Recreation for providing funds for this project, and to the Delaware County Conservation District for the use of its Conservation Planting Trailer and supplies.
