We’re excited to be the featured artist for Media Arts Council’s August 2nd Saturday Exhibit… think of it as a virtual art opening! It’s another collaboration between our two organizations, after the wonderful murals at the State Street entrance. We’ll share some historical photos and some of our favorites from the past ten years. Our artist presentation will be about 25 minutes, with plenty of time after for discussion and Q&A. 

See the park through the eyes of the Friends of Glen Providence Park, who have spent the last decade discovering and documenting its rich history, plants, and wildlife! Over the past year and a half, we have all been more thankful than ever for the natural open space in this 33-acre glen.

There is so much beauty to be found — gazing up, peering down, taking a step back, or focusing in close. You won’t see the park the same way again. Take a virtual tour with the Friends, and fall more in love with Glen Providence Park!
